Causes:
1. The 15V switching power supply is not powered on simultaneously with the 24V switching power supply.
2. The ±15V power supply connected to the control box is reversely connected.
3. The 15V switching power supply is burned out.
4. The 9-pin plug on the gun head is not properly connected, or the signal wire in the middle is disconnected.
5. The motor or control box is burned out.
Solutions:
1. The CN5 port on the control box must receive both 24V and ±15V power supplies at the same time.
2. A total of 3 wires need to be connected for ±15V to the control box, which are +15V, COM, and -15V, and these 3 wires must not be connected incorrectly.
3. Measure whether there is voltage at the input and output ports of the switching power supply. If there is input but no output, it indicates that the power supply is burned out and needs to be replaced.
4. Correct wiring is crucial to ensure the normal operation of the system.
5. After排查 (eliminating) the above issues, troubleshooting can be done by replacing the control box or the gun head.
Causes:
1.The wire feeding tube is too bent.
2.The welding wire is bent and deformed inside the wire feeding tube.
3. The welding wire does not match the model of the wire feeding wheel.
4. The set screw that locks the wire feeding tube is loose.
Solutions:
1. The wire feeding tube must be straightened before welding, and there must be no bends in the tube. If there is a bend, the tube needs to be cut off and reinstalled or replaced.
2. The welding wire must not be bent. If it is bent, it needs to be cut off to ensure that the welding wire inside the wire feeding tube is straight.
3. Use a wire feeding wheel of the same size as the welding wire. For example, if the welding wire is stainless steel or carbon steel, use a V-shaped wire feeding wheel and a conventional wire feeding tube; if it is aluminum wire, use a U-shaped wheel and a graphene wire feeding tube.
4. Normally, the set screw should press against the spring tube. If it is not pressing against the spring tube, it means the screw is loose, causing the spring to retract, and the wire feeding tube needs to be reinstalled.
